A standalone version of DayZ has just been 100% confirmed and announced by the DayZ Development Team, right on time for the DayZ mod to hit the 1 million unique users mark. DayZ hacking epidemic continues

In the past few weeks hacking in DayZ has reached unparalleled levels, it used to be once in a blue moon you would run into a hacker and now instead it's half a dozen times a day or more. It seems like a huge amount of the servers up at any given time are broken from being carpet bombed, nuked or "thunderdomed". Machinima recently did a livestream interview with Rocket, the creator of DayZ and even they were hacked while conducting the interview, giving testament to just how widespread hacking has become in DayZ. The question is, what is being done? Sadly, for now, it seems like nothing at all....
